Meet Whitney (Helman) Jurgens

Whitney Helman is an owner and stylist at Sopris Salon & Spa.  She has been styling hair and performing cosmetic personal services since 2006.  Whitney completed her cosmetology education at Total Cosmetology in 2008.  She is a long time resident of Liberty Lake and Spokane Valley.  She has earned many awards and continues to enrich her education with continuing education classes through Redken.  She enjoys vacationing in California and spending free time with friends and family.

Meet Sharon Carlson

Sharon Carlson is one of the owners of Sopris Salon & Spa.  Sharon recently made a career change and has become our newest licensed staff member of personal services.  She is a licensed Nail Technician in Washington and Idaho.  Sharon can do most any nail service that you can request, just bring a photo of what design you would like.  She specializes in Shellac polish and acrylic nail enhancements.  Sharon enjoys getting pedicures, and because of this, she knows how to give them as well!  The hot rock pedicure she gives includes a lower leg and foot massage with the hot stones.  In her free time, Sharon enjoys spending time with her family snow skiing in the winter, camping at Lake Roosevelt in the summer, and vacationing at warm, sunny, surfing destinations across the world.

Meet Chelsey Hettinger

Chelsey is a stylist at Sopris Salon & Spa.  Chelsey completed her cosmetology education at Glen Dow Academy in 2008 and has been performing cosmetic personal services since 2006.  She joined the Sopris team in September of 2011 and says she has never been happier....Best team to work with ever!  She continually enjoys learning all about the art of hair design.  She is a long time resident of Spokane Valley and she spends her free time reading and hanging out with her family and friends.

Meet Cassie Joseph

Cassie is a stylist at Sopris Salon & Spa.  Cassie completed her cosmetology education at Spokane Community College in 2010.  Cassie was raised in San Diego, California and has lived in Post Falls, Idaho for the last six years.  In her free time, Cassie enjoys snowboarding, camping, fishing, and ATV riding.

Annamarrie Gorny (above)

Meet Annamarrie Gorny

Annamarrie Gorny is a stylist at Sopris Salon and Spa. She completed her cosmetology training at Paul Mitchell The School Spokane in 2012. Annamarrie has lived in Spokane since 2005 and grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. She earned 1st place for makeup applications at Paul Mitchell's annual fundraiser fashion show, and has been trained to apply airbrush makeup. She is a 1950's enthusiast and spends her free time hunting for vintage collectibles and clothing, as well as pin up modeling.

Meet Staci Jacobs

Staci has been a Nationally Licensed Massage Practitioner since 2005.  She was Valedictorian of her class at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College.  Staci is a member of ABMP (Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals) and uses her membership to continue to help and support her clientele.  Here at Sopris, Staci offers a variety of massages including Swedish, deep tissue, Myofascial release, and La stone massage.  Staci stays current with her license by attending continuing education classes and earning certifications in Myofascial Release Technique, Reiki 1 &2 Structural Relief Therapy and ankle ligament sprains.  Staci wants to ensure that you have the most comfortable experience at the salon.  She provides a heated massage table with flannel sheets, heated towels, soothing music for a relaxing environment, and a calming experience.  In her free time, Staci enjoys spending time with family and friends, camping, skiing, and all the travel she can fit in.
